Our ability to provide the aviation industry with precision aerospace machining services extends to drone manufacturers. Like piloted aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS) need intricate parts with tight tolerances and complex details. Rayco can fabricate these specialized metal parts, with the necessary surface finishes or aerospace coatings for drone usage.
Aerospace materials need to be strong and lightweight. Commonly used metals include titanium, 061-T6 aluminum, and the following grades of stainless steel: 304, 316, and 17-4PH. In addition to metals, Rayco can machine aerospace plastics such as nylon, PVC and POM. We provide everything from design assistance to material selection, ensuring consistency across the entire manufacturing process.
